Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que To Celebrate 20 Years in Pigeon Forge With Free Food Day on May 3

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (April 29, 2011) – Your money is no good at Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que in Pigeon Forge on May 3 when the restaurant celebrates its 20th anniversary.

“The cash register will be turned off all day, and everyone will be our guest. It’s our way of saying thank you to our loyal patrons of 20 years,” said Bruce Johnson.

The restaurant will offer its breakfast buffet from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. and then a set barbeque plate for lunch and dinner through 9 p.m. The lunch and dinner plate will feature pulled pork, barbeque chicken, two side dishes, corn muffins and a non-alcoholic beverage. Chicken fingers will be available for children.

Music will be part of the celebration from 5-7:30 p.m. when local band Greenbrier, featuring Jimbo Whaley, will perform.

Johnson said Bennett’s was his first foray into the restaurant business. His company now has eight restaurants – Bennett’s and the Alamo Steakhouse in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Big Daddy’s Pizzeria in Pigeon Forge and Sevierville and Mama’s Farmhouse and Mad Dog’s Creamery in Pigeon Forge.

The birthday celebration is only at the Pigeon Forge location of Bennett’s.
